ATi’s Catalyst 8.2 is out! There’s a huge list of fixes for Windows Vista and a few for Windows XP. There are fixes for high rated games like World of Warcraft and Enemy Territory Quake Wars, so make sure you grab this driver if you play any of these. The release notes can be found here (read/download in pdf format).
The only performance improvements mentioned are for the 2000 and 3000 series. You can expect a 20% increase in frame rates in Company of Heroes in DX10 mode. In CrossFire the performance will be improved by as much as 30%.

The ATI Drivers & Software Page now offers the promised new version 7.10 Catalyst reference drivers for ATI graphics cards. The new drivers offer adaptive anti-aliasing for the X1000 series, software Crossfire support for the Radeon HD 2600 and Radeon HD 2400 series, and significant reported performance improvements in a number of games.
