Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Map Pack

Filed Under (Rainbow Six Series) by NightCrawler on 13-09-2008

Since there is some demand for the Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Fan Pack, or Gift Pack as it is sometimes referred to, I am placing it up on my downloads website for download.  This Map Pack contains the NEW 3 maps, Calypso Casino, Murdertown-Dark, and CQB-Training-Dark.  It is encased in a zipped folder so you will need a program to unzip the file.  The file is a self-extrating exe file, which will place all required files where they belong.  Thank You for your patience, and excuse me for the download speed, because it will be around 380 kbs/sec rate.  Can’t afford a faster bandwidth server.

Project Origin Interview - New Video & Screens

Filed Under (F.E.A.R.) by NightCrawler on 01-05-2008

fear-projectorigin-box.jpgTwo videos, screens, and comments from developer Monolith.

.

Let’s make one thing clear: Project Origin–a first-person shooter from publisher Warner Brothers Interactive getting ready for release later this October–is the real follow-up to 2005’s ‘F.E.A.R.’. In fact, Project Origin starts approximately 30 minutes before the ending of its predecessor. It’s being developed by Monolith Productions, the same studio that developed ‘F.E.A.R.’, and will utilize all the same narrative elements and characters. The only thing it doesn’t have is the recognizable name, as the ‘F.E.A.R.’ label is still property of Vivendi Games (formerly Vivendi Universal Games), which worked with Monolith back in 2005.

COD4 will be supported “For a Very Long Time”

Filed Under (Call of Duty 4) by NightCrawler on 22-02-2008

cod4big.jpgCommunity manager doesn’t really talk about the upcoming COD4 map pack inside

Infinity community manager, Robert Bowling, has been caught red-handed talking about the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4 map pack. Unfortunately he didn’t really reveal much. We’re guessing Activision is saving all that up to make some big announcement soon.

Speaking to Destructoid, Bowling said, “People who want open maps are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want more indoor locales are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want something completely different from what they’re currently playing are going to be happy with this map pack.”

People who actually want some official, confirmed details to chew on aren’t going to be very happy, we say.

But it looks like Infinity will be supporting the game for a while yet, or at least until the next one comes out.

“We plan on supporting our game for a very long time. We’re currently number one on Xbox Live, so we have a lot of people playing. So we’re going to continue to support the community that keeps supporting us. We have a lot of cool ideas that we’re working on, and we’re going to keep making maps until we’re done.”
